XVI. Yüzyılda yaşadığı tahmin edilen Halil’e ait Derviş-name, bu türe ait güzel bir örnektir. Sufistic thought has affected on the literature like on the every field of life and it has costituted a branch of Turkish Literature as “Sufistic Turkish Literature”. In the wide area of this Literatüre Branch, thousands of the books about different issues have been written and pressed. We think that it is useful to classify all the books about different issues elaborately. One kind of Sufi Literature is also Dervish-name. The Dervish-name written by Halil who is supposed to have lived in the sixteenth century is excellent example of this kind.
