THE NEARNESS IN THE CASE OF OSMAN BEDRÜDDÎN ERZURȖMÎ (1850–1924)
Osman Bedrüddin Erzurûmî, also known as “İmam Efendi”; is a scholar and sufi belonging to Naqshi sufi order who lived in the last quarter of the 19th century. Although Osman Bedrüddîn Erzurûmî has a great deal of explanations about nearness, an independant study evaluating his thoughts about this issue is not present. In this article, the concept of nearness will be examined in the case of Osman Bedrüddîn Erzurûmî by referring to his work named "Gülzâr-i Sâminî, which includes his conversations.
